The Rotary Eltham Art Show
will be held at the Eltham Community and Reception Centre
Friday 28th August to Sunday 6th September 2026
2D & 3D
With less than 12 months to go, the Art Show committee is excited to be building a plan to present nothing but the best for the 2026 art exhibition.
We are drawing upon valuable experiences gained from the highly successful 2022, 2023 and 2024 shows. The decisions regarding presentation, inclusions, marketing, placements, workshops, prizes, sponsors, events, demonstrations and community involvement are seen as paramount to ensure a complete coverage of the art forms emanating from the Nillumbik area and beyond. Artists and the public can be assured of a selection of quality offerings.
Artists are invited to prepare their finest works for submission to the show. The categories will span 2D (Paintings, Photography) & 3D (Sculpture, Ceramics, Glass, Woodwork). The show is selective. Artists are requested to submit up to 3 pieces with the possibility of 2 being selected for exhibition. Prizes will be generous. Previous shows have included submissions from individual artists, members of the Melbourne 20, Victorian Artists Society, Watercolour Society of Victoria, Nillumbik Open studios, Red Door Studio, Diamond Valley Arts Society, Banyule Artists plus many other well recognised individual guest artists.
The 2026 show is also expecting to exhibit works by VCE art students from local high schools as an encouragement for them to experience involvement with professional artists who commenced their artistic journeys this way many years ago.
The Rotary Club of Eltham has supported the local community for the past 52 years. The Art shows have contributed almost $100,000 to those programs. The club is well supported by sponsors and local volunteers.
Volunteering for one of the many Rotary Eltham projects (Art Show, Festival, etc.), provides community members with an opportunity to engage with ‘what really happens’ to build a fabulous event. Apart from having compulsory fun there is another world to experience from which to learn. We would certainly be very pleased to include you. Details are on the website: https://elthamartshow.org.au
Once again, we look forward to seeing you at the show!
Regards
