The hustle and bustle of the 3D Fine Art Show 2024 has come to a close. The Volunteers of The Rotary Club of Eltham are have breathing a sigh of relief and settling back into other projects. Winners are celebrating! Congratulations all around!

The show gave us an exciting venture to produce with combining the categories of Ceramics, Sculpture, Glass, Jewellery and Woodwork. It was truly magnificent in its presentation. We were very proud to have had the support from the 3D artists, sponsors, artists groups, required trades non-Rotarian volunteers – where would the world be without volunteers! Over 800 visitors came through the door over those 3 days.
Was it hard work? It certainly was, but very personally satisfying.
Building up to a 3-day exhibition begs to be questioned. We commenced the project almost 7 months ago. Artists prepared their best works, extensive marketing was designed, produced and placed with a reach of over 5,000 hits. Printing, Grants, Sponsors, meetings plus many crossings of t’s and dotting of I’s.
Is it possible to do a 2-week exhibition or more, do we have the manpower, do we have the venue, do we have the energy?
Certainly, consideration of a more permanent exhibition space is warranted.
This is our third year of presenting an Art Exhibition. Artists, both 2D and 3D, have engaged in every way to support us and we deeply thank you for your wonderful consideration and works. The quality exhibited surpassed expectation.
