Our Judge is the President of the Victorian Artists Society, Mr Mark Bagally. Mark’s reputation as a discerning and appreciating scrutiniser of artistic works precedes him. VAS has represented all fine examples of Victorian Art since its inception in 1870.

Those works selected to enter our inaugural 3D show will be displayed and curated by Paul Cacioli, a valued member of the Association of Sculptors and a curator of the recent Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

“Interest from members of leading associations within these categories has been very encouraging” says Convenor and Rotary Eltham member, Brenda Ibels.

The Eltham Rotary Club is no stranger to presenting events which draw upon Community interest.

The two previous shows, 2022 and 2023 presented by the club were 2D – Paintings.  The Nillumbik Shire has a strong foundation of 2D painting and 3D history dating back to the early 1900’s. The legacy of these early artists is very evident throughout many galleries which display fine examples of works by Withers, Jorgensen, Skipper and many other notable pioneers of their fields.

The show will be held for the third year in the iconic mud brick Eltham Community & Reception Centre, Main Rd, Eltham.
