  • Artist’s Statement

I have lived in montmorency for the last 3 years. I was lucky enough to have the Yarra river in my 5km isolation zone during covid lockdowns. I spend a lot of time with my children swimming, walking, observing, meeting wombats and birds along the banks of the beautiful Yarra.
During times of ill health, I find respite in the ripples of water over rocks. The soft sounds. The stillness.
