Artist’s Statement
I have exhibited in all of the listed galleries including a one person show at the Light Factory and been included in numerous exhibitions at Montsalvat. My work is held in the Nillumbik shire collection, I have been on a number of arts related Shire Committees including the Arts Aquisition Committee. I reside and have my studio in Nillumbik for the past 30 years.
Biography
Chris has been an artist for forty years beginning with Bachelor of Fine Art Painting RMIT in 1980 and later a Graduate Diploma at VCA in 1988.
He has exhibited his work in group and solo exhibitions, throughout Australia and internationally including “Impressed” Gallery 25 in New Delhi India in 2006 and he was invited to show in Paris in 2015 at ’L’Atelier d’Art de France’.
In 2010 he won the Nillumbik prize which allowed him to travel to Italy.
He is represented in the Margaret Lawrence Australian Ceramic Collection Victorian College of the Arts, The Nillumbik and City of Whitehorse Art collections.
