- Nillumbik Council has allocated the Eltham Community and Reception Centre to us for the next two years. Integration with the community is a major factor.
- Exploring community integration has resulted in us forging an association with Montsalvat to exhibit the 3D works. A very exciting collaborative step. Montsalvat’s history incorporates 3D expertise in Sculpture, Glass, Ceramics and Jewellery. Further details regarding the finer points of exhibition are being drafted and will be available on the website soon.
- New Partnerships are being sourced for financial support and awards for the show. We are very pleased that many of last year’s partners are supporting us again which is greatly appreciated. Recognition of these partners is paramount.
- Nillumbik is enormously proud of its Art Heritage. It’s far reaching influences is colossal. Many galleries throughout Victoria have a Withers, Meldrum, Douglas and others in their collections. Groups across Victoria have developed as a result of the tonal and other influences from this region. The Eltham Art Show endeavours to exhibit the best of these influences exclusively from those groups and individuals.
