We lived in Hurstbridge during the 1990s and were involved with the Panton Hill Living and Learning Centre. During that time, I exhibited at Eltham Wiregrass Gallery and was a finalist in the ‘Salon de Montsalvat’ and in the Nillumbik Prize.
I studied Fine Art in Melbourne in the 1970s, majoring in painting and printmaking. I have been painting and exhibiting atmospheric landscapes for over 30 years and won awards both in Australia and overseas. My paintings are dominated by the sky; I employ a limited colour palette to achieve my artistic effects, portraying the landscape in transitory weather situations with the emphasis on changing light. I am currently an artist-in-residence with the Bayside Art Gallery's 2022 Artists Studio Program in Brighton. Exhibitions this year include the Affordable Art Fair, Melbourne, and Gagliardi Gallery, London.
