I have been living at the Dunmoochin in Cottles Bridge for a long time. I have had a solo exhibition at the Montsalvat March/2022.
Heja Jung (Chong) lives and works in the outskirt of Melbourne, Australia.
Heja completed a Bachelor of Ceramic Design and a Bachelor of Visual Arts with First Class Honours. Heja is the recipient of a studio grant from the Visual Arts & Crafts Board of the Australia Council. She was awarded an apprenticeship of one year in Bizen Japan, the joint winner of Sydney Myer Fund Ceramic award, Shepparton Regional Gallery in 1992. She has been awarded the Artist Residencies, including Seungju Cultural centre, Korea, and Tapiola, Alajärvi, Finland. Heja has been exhibiting since 1981, and finalist in the various art prizes. Heja has been invited speaker in a various institutions, nationally and internationally, and the articles featured on the number of magazines and newspapers. Her work is held in a numerous public and private collections, including New Parliament House, Canberra. New Castle Regional Art Gallery, NSW, Latrobe Regional Art Gallery, Vic.
