My family lived in the Bend of Isles for two decades and I still dream in the landscapes of this Country. It’s in my DNA. My kids were all birthed here and dunked in the Yarra - informal baptisms. My partner and I built a house on the Round The Bend conservation cooperative which we will return to when circumstances allow. I’m a frequent exhibitor in the Shire (Nillumbik Library Community Gallery, The Barn at Montsalvat, St Andrews Wadambuk Gallery, The Light Factory Gallery) and was a member of Nillumbik Artists Open Studios for nearly two decades. Past VP and current member of Butterfly Studio in Christmas Hills. I continue to volunteer in Nillumbik today, having been a ‘reader’ for the Alan Marshall Short Story Award and its various iterations for over a decade.
Nillumbik is my home, even though I currently live outside it.
